Healthy living means making good physical, mental, emotional and spiritual choices. You make healthy choices when you:

  • Eat nutritious food, including fruits and vegetables and country foods like caribou and fish.  Choose a variety of foods from all the food groups as suggested by Canada’s Food Guide
  • Build a circle of friends and family who care for you and respect you.  It’s important to have people you can talk to about what’s going on in your life.
  • Stay physically active to keep your body strong, reduce stress and imporve your energy.
