Saying no to alcohol can be a very difficult thing to do. With parties, BBQ’s, camping and the bar scene, there is all kinds of exposure to alcohol, and everyone seems to be having a lot of fun. Believe it or not, even one drink can pose a threat to an unborn baby.
At times, we all feel stressed, depressed, sad, and angry – it is a normal part of life! But sometimes these feelings don’t leave. When this happens, it can affect our lives – our school work, family, friendships, and relationships. When we feel this way we may not enjoy things we used to do – like sports, video games and hanging out with friends.
Nobody wants to tell you how to run your life. Most of you know that smoking is bad for you; you’ve heard it before. Ultimately the fact is you will have to decide whether you are going to smoke or not. Some of you have already made the decision not to smoke; some of you may have made the opposite decision. In making a decision as important as this, you will want to gather as much information as you can and we can help. You may want to know that the younger someone is when they start smoking, the more likely he or she is to become a life–time smoker. Smoking is addictive.
