Find sexual health resources for the classroom
Sexual health education is part of the physical and health education (PHE) curriculum. Yukon schools teach sexual education to students in:
- Kindergarten to Grade 9; and
- Planning and Careers 10.
To support with delivery of comprehensive sexual health education, we provide resources that:
- create a respectful environment and safe classroom culture; and
- have clear standards and guidelines for training and presentations.

Kindergarten to Grade 3
Use this video with guides to cover these PHE learning standards:
- names for parts of the body, including proper names for genitals and reproductive organs; and
- the appropriate and inappropriate ways of being touched.
Grade 4
